Typically this revolves around users removing themselves from the online space. This is completely at odds with what the blogs of Pre-Social-Media internet were. These typically were hyperniche corners of the internet about users obscure interests or passions.
What happens when everyone is crushed into the same interest/hobby (the internet and shortform content consumption) and wants to get out? Everyones hyperniche corners of the internet become a non-stop discussion on meta methods to leave their own hobby. Most peoples hobby is now leaving their old hobby.
